I think that there is no definitive answer. At one time or another, everyone uses them. You will receive utensils in fast food places. People use it for parties and camping. There is a small percentage that use daily at home.
This is a small percentage in his case, but some people just paper plates and plastic utensils. I personally think it's a waste of resources and money because they are easy to throw when you get current plates and utensils and stores.
